Varun's career in financial services spans over 25 years as a distinguished fund manager, entrepreneur, and business leader. Notably, he was Country Head for Macquarie Group in India, with prior experience with marquee firms like Deutsche Bank, based in India, Hong Kong and Singapore. Later, as a part of Edelweiss Wealth & Asset Management's Executive Committee, Varun was responsible for Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, and Insurance Broking businesses. As an exceptional business leader, he has built and led large enterprises at scale, and served on the Boards of some of the most marquee companies in India.
